The boat tossed in the storm. This work by former Prime Minister V. P. Singh places him in the context of the watercolourists of the Bengal School who were influenced by British Watercolours. One of V. P. Singh?s closest friends was the artist Paresh Maity who certainly formed a part of his early evolution. This work sustains its light palette and signifies the approaching storm that mirrors the skies in the tempest that overpowers and engulfs everything that comes in its way.
