The human form is central to the art of K.S. Radhakrishnan. His figures represent the primal male and the primal female capable of transforming themselves into a variety of personas from myth, history and the everyday. His sensual figures with their long exaggerated limbs are a testimony to the artist?s prowess as a sculptor. This work was created when his son was born in 1986. It exemplifies his wife Mimi carrying the baby on her hip.
