Deepened embers of russet and sienna seep through the allegorical symbolism that equates visual inertness to neo-tantric ruminations. But you don?t only think of tantra, you think of spouts of sound bites, much the same way black holes suck cosmic matter, you think of stunning artistic vision born out of the reflections of more than a mere yogic stance. It?s about orienting the disoriented. At first, the works appear a bit dark in the tenured vein of sensibilities. But what emerges at once is the intensity of the artist?s inward, multidirectional gaze, coupled with the relaxed alertness of his symbolism in linguistic expression and the casual confidence of his geometric postures in planar tectonics, that makes these works look perfectly natural, but deeply embedded in an inert consciousness.
